I need you to read this quote. My eyes got BIG when I read it.
One of the Forerunner moms said this about our male mentors:
“Isn’t it sad that I didn’t know men like this existed? I’ve never met men who are responsible and kind like these mentors and coaches. Now that I know it’s out there, I know that I can’t settle for less. I owe it to my boys to not go backwards.”
My team and I are just as passionate about supporting moms as we are the young boys!
Every month we host a dinner for Forerunner moms. It gets LOUD from all the laughing. Here is a prayer one of my coworkers offers at these dinners:
“May God minister to your broken hearts. God, help them to resist the schemes of the enemy by standing firmly rooted in the love of Jesus and the promises of scripture. God, for every mom we serve that’s dreaming of a restored home… And for every mom who dreams of a godly husband and father-figure for their family…I pray you’ll show your faithfulness to the hopes of these precious women. You see them. Let them know you love them.”
