It’s Hard to Be What You Can’t See

On Life Skill Tuesdays in our Junior High Program, we invite guest speaks to come show the boys a skill or share about their work. It’s a great time for our boys to ask questions and get insight into adulthood that they wouldn’t normally receive. It’s hard to be what you can’t see.

This last week, @hairrevivalstudio @hairkingblake came and spoke to our Junior High students. Blake is a barber / hair stylist and a good friend of Forerunner. Our boys asked him professional business like questions all on their own. It was inspiring to watch.

At the end I asked who wanted to pray for Mr. Blake and three of our boys did. Were they battling over who had the best prayer? IDK lol. There's no such thing as too much prayer.

Not only did Blake just come and speak but he stuck around to play basketball and prayed for our boys. It was a fun day.
