January 2020: A Fresh Word
We like whiteboards. Like a lot.
If you've visited our offices you probably know them by now.
They give us space to think out loud.
To make plans. To brainstorm.
To gain perspective and see things in different ways.
And sometimes, they remind us to believe again.
We are more than an After School Program.
We are a training center for boys growing into men of God.
We provide more than childcare.
We provide courage.
We are more than a schedule of healthy activities.
We are relationships that change lives.
For many of our boys, our culture says, "the writing is on the wall."
And we say, "Yes. It is. But it doesn't say what you think."
What are you believing for in 2020? We know what we are.
We have a whiteboard for that.
Father, may our boys grow up into everything we speak over them in 2020.
