    Directions to Forerunner HQ

Every boy deserves someone in his corner.

Forerunner Mentoring has helped boys in Lake Highlands grow into men of God since 2011. We host after school clubs for every school in the Lake Highlands High School feeder pattern. Every boy is matched with a screened, trained mentor who will show up, build him up, and share Jesus with him.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much does it cost? Forerunner is free. We fundraise on behalf of every boy who joins, so cost is never the reason a boy misses out. Some summer camps ask for a small deposit to hold a spot, and we’ll always tell you ahead of time.

Who are the mentors? Men from local churches who complete an interview, a background check, MinistrySafe training, and mentor training before they're matched.

What ages do you serve? Boys in K-8 through our after school clubs, and 9th-12th grade young men through THRIVE.

How do I get started? Fill out the sign-up form or call us at 972-656-8252. We'll walk you through the next steps.
